| 授業概略と目的 ／Cource Description and Objectives |
In this class, we will learn and discuss about various global issues such as climate change, human trafficking, global poverty, and human rights. We will learn about the United Nations and various international non-profit organizations. And, we will think about and discuss Japan’s role in globalization. The class is taught entirely in English. |

Students should have some basic ability to communicate in English and an interest in global issues. TOEIC of at least 300 is recommended. |

This class requires communication in English. All assignments will be completed in English. All materials will be in English Please have a Japanese-English Dictionary every class. We will use online resources in class, so please be prepare with a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. This is a paperless class. Everything will be done electronically. |
